| The total overnight accommodation in the Ystad region exceeds 1,600 beds and 650 places for caravans and tents on four campsites.
Ystads Saltsjöbad Hotel, Hotel Continental and Ystad Spa & Konferenshotell are the largest hotels; they have over 370 beds between them. The Continental also claims to be Sweden’s oldest city hotel. It was built on the foundations of the 18th century customs house. |

Ystad Saltsjöbad hotel, which is a mere 100 years old, boasts a 320 seat convention hall, its own “Mediterranean feel” outdoor swimming pool and a new spa with views across the Baltic.
Ystad Spa & Konferenshotell is close to Ystad Studios and Cineteket.
Hotel Anno 1793 Sekelgården is steeped in history – although the hotel is not so old. Parts of the building date from the end of the 18th century and both the interior and exterior have been carefully renovated.
There are three family hotels, Tornväktaren, Prins Carl and Bäckagården; all three are in the centre of town. |

Stora Herrestad is a traditional inn, and in Ingelstorp there is a private hotel. Örums old school house has been turned into an exclusive hotel and conference centre and renamed Kafferosteriet. The hotel and restaurant Löderups Strandbad enjoys wonderful sea views and has its own outdoor swimming pool and boule court. The hotel also has its own holiday village. |

Bed & Breakfast and Bed & Box For those who prefer B & B , there are a number of attractive alternatives both in Ystad and in the outlying villages of Glemmingebro, Hagestad, Karlsborg, Kåseberga, Löderup, Peppinge, Snårestad, St. Herrestad, Sövestad and Örum. You’ll find rooms to let in Ystad, and Köpingebro. |

Holiday villages (Stugby) Cottages and apartments are also available for rent in the various holiday villages in and around Ystad. In Ystads Sandskog there are three choices, Korsvirkesbyn, Röda stugbyn and Gröna stugbyn. The latter two have facilities for the disabled. |

Hostels (Vandrarhem) There are six hostels in and around Ystad with a total of approximately 200 beds. At Ystad railway station there is a hostel with 40 beds. Not far from Dag Hammarskjöld’s Backåkra is another STF hostel with 80 beds and Tygegården’s hostel has 50 beds. The hostel in Köpingebro, Violen, has 20 beds. |

Camping There are four camping sites with a total of 650 places during the summer months:the four-star Sandskogens Camping, Löderups Strandbad in the Hagestad nature reserve, Nybrostrand by the sea, and a site adjacent to Fredriksberg kursgård. The largest is Sandskogens Camping, it has 350 places. |
