Conditions and rules
All bookings made on ystad.se/online result in a confirmation in the form of an e-mail, which is generated by the booking program. It is the customer's responsibility to contact Ystad Tourist Centre if he/she has not received this email. Please contact turistinfo@ystad.se in this case.
When the booking is confirmed, the following conditions and rules apply:
Your booking goes directly to the hotel you selected. By confirming the booking you enter into an agreement with this hotel. Unless otherwise stated when you make your booking, your credit card details will only be used to secure your booking. No money will be debited from your account at the booking stage. You pay for your stay on arrival at the hotel or on your departure and you can then choose to pay in cash or by credit card. Please note that not all hotels accept credit cards.
If you wish to cancel your room, you can do this at
simrishamn.se/accomodation. Unless otherwise stated in the booking rules when
you make your booking, you can cancel free of charge up until 17.00 on the day
before your scheduled arrival.
For cancellations after this time there is a
charge on the credit card corresponding to one night�s accommodation at the
hotel in question.
All bookings made at ystad.se/online are confirmed with a booking number. Take this booking number with you to the hotel. You will find the number on the confirmation you receive by e-mail. If you mislay this number, please contact turistinfo@ystad.se or Ystad Tourist Centre on +46 411 577 681 for assistance.
The room price you are given when you make your booking is the price you will pay for the room when you check out of the hotel. Any discrepancies are to be reported at turistinfo@ystad.se
It is your responsibility to pay for the services you use at the hotel that are not included in the price you were given when you booked your room (e.g. room service, newspaper, minibar etc). If you wish to make changes to your booking when you are at the hotel, the hotel will try as far as possible to satisfy your requirements. However, this is not something that you can demand, as it is not included in the original contract you entered into with the hotel in conjunction with making your booking.
How do I reserve a hotel room?
You can reserve your hotel room by following four simple and fast steps:
- Do an Internet search for the date you require.
- Compare the alternatives that are available for the date you want and choose the alternative that suits you.
- Fill out the booking form.
- Keep a copy of the booking confirmation you receive by e-mail.
Why do you need my credit card details?
Usually we only need your credit card details in order to secure and confirm your booking. When you have given your credit card details and completed the booking form, you will receive an e-mail stating your booking number. Your credit card is not charged at this stage, as payment is made at the hotel.
How many days in advance can I make a cancellation?
You can cancel up until 17.00 on the day before your scheduled arrival. No cancellation fee is charged unless you cancel after this time. In the case of late cancellations your credit card is charged with a cost corresponding to one night´s accommodation at the hotel in question.
How does the cancellation process work?
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you can do this at
simrishamn.se/accomodation before the time stated in your booking confirmation.
In order to make the cancellation you need your booking number, personal user ID
and the password stated on your booking confirmation. This information makes it
possible to quickly and simply make the cancellation yourself.
Your
cancellation is confirmed by an e-mail. If you do not receive this mail, please

How secure is the booking and payment process?
When you make a hotel booking your personal details and payment information is handled on a secure web page and these details are encrypted in order to guarantee a confidential transfer.
You can choose to pay using a different credit card than the one you stated at the booking stage, or in cash.
Your credit card details are only necessary to secure and confirm your booking. When you have given your credit card details and completed the booking form at ystad.se/online, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail stating your booking number.
